I was able to get my hands on a Stratios and use it for a bit of low sec exploration. Overall I am pretty happy with it. Its a great ship, and combined with the new mobile depot can take on combat sites in addition to data and relic sites.
During my session while using it, I ran a few data and relic sites. Nothing new here, performs about the same as my Tengu. I was happy to find out that they added the T2 bonuses for the hacking mods to the ship, +10 instead of the T1 +5, which will make this ship more viable for hacking null sec sites.
I also came across the Blood Raider 4/10 site, Mul-zatah Monastary(sp). The Stratios tore right through this site, my four Garde IIs did a great job of destroying things quickly, and I seemed to be over tanked for the site. I even got a nice drop of 3 Corpum C-Type mods, including a medium armor repper that sold for around 100 million.
I also tried my hand at a Blood Annex I found(not the Minor Blood Annex). The Stratios performed well on the initial wave of the first room, but once that second wave showed up, I couldn't handle the neuts and had to warp out. This is a common problem with Blood Raider sites though, so I'm not too discouraged. I'm not familiar with this site either, so staging myself at a longer range to the 2nd wave spawn might have helped a bit.
Overall I like the ship, and it will be nice to use when I'm only logging in for a short while to scan for some sites around my home system. But I still like the income from data and relic sites in null sec a lot more, and do pretty well with my Tengu out there. I am coming up with a new system with my Tengu and the new mobile depot to be able to do combat sites in addition to data and relic sites in null.
