I have been exploring in null a lot lately with my Tengu. More specifically, with a new Tengu fit that takes into consideration some of the things I talked about in my last post.
I have modified my scanning/relic/data site Tengu fit to use Rapid Light Missile Launcher IIs, and 2 Warp Scrambler IIs. The purpose of this is to be ready when an opportunity comes to kill some of my competition, rather than have to refit, etc.
In the last few days, I have just been going about my exploration like I normally would, running sites and so forth. But I also have scored three kills, just from bumping into other explorers. One had a juicy Sisters Probe launcher, but unfortunately it didn't drop. I still hunt them the same way as I detailed in a different post, staying cloaked and jumping them when they start working on a can.
I'm happy. Now I PvE and PvP at the same time. And the random nature of it all is great. I literally never know what is going to happen every time I log in. Could make a ton of cash, might come up empty. Could kill a few people, could get baited and lose my Tengu(for the record this hasn't happened yet). Who knows?
Some informative posts on exploring, thanks!
